Who we are
MForce Hawaiʻi is an ʻohana of local artists and music lovers from Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, formed to create synergies to help artists on the rise, including artists whose music doesn’t necessarily fit within the norms of Waikīkī hotel gigs or island reggae radio.
As a team we strive to reduce the time our artists have to spend self-promoting, so they can do what they do best: make more great music!
For our artists we provide artist representation, talent management, and full recording and production services.
For music consumers we provide booking of live performances by our artists, sound engineering services, and bespoke music composition and production for film scores, documentaries, video games — any project where original music can add value.
When we’re not making music you can find us out in the community, volunteering, advocating, and generally striving for a better Hawaiʻi, all while having fun of course!
Btw, the images throughout this website are photos of the amazing sculpture called “IF VI WAS IX” (a reference to a classic Jimi Hendrix tune), created by Trimpin. The sculpture is in the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle… and it actually plays music by robotically plucking the guitar strings! We couldn’t think of a better visual representation of the kind of out-of-the-box creativity we value — and cultivate — here at MForce. (Photo credit: K. Matthews)
